For almost all weekend walks, we meet at the Civic Center upper car park, Fields Road, Newport, NP20 5BJ to depart at 9:30 am.

We usually get to the car park ten minutes or so before the departure time.

Any different times of departure are noted in the walks programme.

To get to the Fields Road exit the M4 at Junction 27 signposted "High Cross". At the roundabout of the exit take the B4591 signposted "Newport". After a short while, turn left at a small roundabout that is usually adorned with flowers. This brings you into Fields Park Road. Take the next right into Edward VII Avenue. Continue up Edward VII Avenue, then downhill. After a zig-zag, the Avenue becomes flat and continues as Fields Road. Go straight on past the first right turn off Fields Road and you will soon see the entrance to the car park on your right. For evening walks park on street.

If you get lost, ask anyone in Newport to direct you to the Civic Centre - they should all know where it is!
